Kriss Chaumont – UX Lead & Design Manager

Portrait of Kriss Chaumont

About Me

I'm a Senior Staff UX Designer at PayPal with over 20 years of experience designing products people actually use. I love the messy, high-stakes work — tight deadlines, big audiences, problems that haven't been solved before.

Right now I'm building AI-powered tools, designing in-store and mobile experiences, and helping my team get comfortable with AI-assisted workflows. Before PayPal, I spent two decades at NBC News leading product design for elections, breaking news, live coverage, and some of the company's first generative AI features — including a 2024 election night experience that ranked first in traffic and user satisfaction.

I work best at the intersection of strategy and craft — prototyping, vibe-coding, and pushing work forward. Resume (PDF)LinkedInEmail Kriss
