Portrait of Kriss Chaumont

About Me

As Design Lead at NBC News, I led and mentored teams focused on generative AI, breaking/live coverage, and election results. Working closely across disciplines, we delivered industry-leading solutions from AI-powered features and interactive live experiences to social games. Our 2024 Presidential Election coverage ranked first in traffic and user satisfaction, demonstrating our impact in the digital news space.

Combining strategic leadership with hands-on design, I bring deep expertise in Figma prototyping, vibe coding, and building scalable design systems and component libraries. I’m driven to lead teams in creating intuitive, high-impact digital experiences that merge design excellence with the possibilities of emerging technology.
